Vineyard Info
Perched on Mont Pouilly, in the South of Burgundy, this Chateau stands proudly since 1551, in the middle of its 7 hectares of vines growing on a calcareous-clay soil. At the helm since 1981, Madame Canal du Comet aims to restore its prestige to this domain, the protagonist of the universal exhibitions of 1862 and 1912. Traditions are respected here, from the vine to the bottle (12-month vinification, blending before ageing, long ageing in bottles). Since the 19th century the property belongs to the same family. The current heirs, mother and daughters, represent the 6th and the 7th generation.
