Vineyard Info
The Langhe area has interesting marine soil origins which consists of mostly calcareous-clayey, perfect for wine production creating wines with good structure and complexity. This Barolo wine is produced in a few villages (the surrounding Barolo villages) in the Piemonte region and province of Cuneo. The soils are predominantly clayey and calcareous. The viticulture is exclusively hilly and, to preserve the quality of grapes, the land at the bottom of the valley is excluded from the appellation. The altitude of the vineyards is between 170 - 540 meters above sea level. The estate is made up of 80 hectares, of which 74 hectares are dedicated to the cultivation of vines. Together, they form a natural "amphitheater", located in the heart of the Nizza DOCG production area.
