Vineyard Info
Aresti Winery is owned by ACW, one of the most prestigious family-run wine operations in Chile. The foundations of Viña ARESTI are the passion for excellence of its founder, Vicente Aresti Astica. After he passed, at 92, his daughters Begoña and Ana María Aresti López took over their father’s endeavor and persevered in commitment they had learnt from him.
Vineyard information: great variety of soil types, with deep and shallow (1.2 m) profiles that contain a rugged volcanic formation that transitions from a sand loam granitic texture to a clay loam texture. Medium pH of 5.5. Planted in a north-south and east-west orientation, depending on the soil type, slope and variety. The vines are trained using a low VSP system, with pressurized irrigation. Use of precision viticulture for management and harvest. Situated at 800m above sea level.
